  • CENTRALE IDROELETTRICA

    The hydroelectric power station, built at the lakeside in the 1920s, was designed by Giancarlo Maroni, Gabriele D'Annunzio's architect, who had already designed the Vittoriale degli Italiani (The shrine of Italian victories).

  • CASTELLO DI ARCO

    The Castello di Arco (Arco castle), one of the most beautiful and impressive medieval fortresses in the entire Alpine range, was built by the counts of Arco at the top of a rocky tower. It overlooks the plain of the river Sarca and offers views of undeniable charm.

  • ST. BARBARA CHURCH

    The little church of St. Barbara is the Riva del Garda symbol: it stuck in to the Rocchetta’s mountain rocks and it is an unmissable excursion to show the beautiful view on the Garda Lake. The church was built from the miners during the work on the electric power station.

  • PONALE STREET

    The old Ponale street was the unique road from Riva del garda to Ledro valley and today is one of the best mountainbike trail in italy for its incredible view point. It’s nice to walk on!

  • BUSATTE TEMPESTA PANORAMIC TRAIL

    A nice trail that start from Busatte (a little bit over Torbole), follows the mountain along the Grada lake and arrives to Tempesta. Along the trail there are 3 flight of steps with about 400 steps that give you a fantastic view on the lake!

  • BALDO MOUNTAIN WITH THE CABLELIFT

    You can not miss the Monte Baldo cable lift that tourn arround while you are going up: you have a total 360° round so you have a perfect view on the lake, the mountains and the hills from an exclusive point. On the Baldo mountain you can easy walking, love the landscape and eat in the refuges.

    You have to visit the Castle in Malcesine! The historical village full of small roads ad the ancient castle are the scene of a lot of wedding. In Mlacesine there are a lot of bar and restaurant on the lake and it is the best point where you can look a nice sunset.

    It is one of the most fascinating museum houses in Italy, with a magnificent garden, an open theater, streets and squares, rich in art and hidden secrets. The Vittoriale degli Italiani, home of Gabriele d'Annunzio, is located in Gardone Riviera, on the west side of Garda Lake, and was built in memory of the "inimitable life" of the poet-soldier during the First World War.
